What the job involves
A regular clean keeps a house under control, so the weekend isn't spent catching up. Most homes have the same jobs every time: the kitchen benches and stovetop, the bathrooms, the floors, a dust of the surfaces you use every day. We write those down as your list, room by room, and work through it on every visit.
The list is the point. It means each clean covers the same ground, nothing gets skipped because it wasn't obvious, and you can change what's done without explaining it all again. If the spare room isn't being used, take it off. If the oven needs doing before Christmas, add it for one visit.
You pick how often, and we agree a regular day. You don't need to be home. Plenty of people leave a key, use a lockbox or give us a door code, and come home to the place done.

- Floors: carpets and rugs vacuumed, hard floors vacuumed and mopped, entry and hallway
- Bins emptied into your outside bins
- Extras added for one visit when you ask, like the inside of the oven or fridge
Not part of this clean
- Tidying away belongings, laundry or dishes, unless they're on your list
- The inside of the oven, fridge or cupboards on every visit (add them as extras when you want them)
- Moving heavy furniture to clean behind it
Worth knowing
- We clean what's on your list. Anything else, ask first, and we'll tell you straight whether it's something we do.
- We don't move heavy furniture or climb on anything to reach high places.
How pricing works
Regular cleans are quoted, free, before any work starts. The price depends on the size of the home (bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas), how often we come, and what's on your list. Weekly visits usually take less time each than monthly ones, because there's less build-up between them. If the house hasn't had a proper clean in a while, the first visit can take longer, and the quote will say so. Extras, like the oven or the inside of the fridge, are priced when you add them, so you know before we do them.
A typical list, room by room
Every home's list is a little different, but most look like this to start with:
- Kitchen. Benches and splashback, stovetop and rangehood front, sink and taps, the outside of appliances, the inside of the microwave, bins emptied.
- Bathrooms. Shower, screen and bath, basin, vanity and taps, the toilet inside and out, mirrors, tiles wiped down.
- Living areas and bedrooms. Dusting the surfaces you can reach, mirrors and glass, beds made if you leave fresh linen out, a tidy of surfaces.
- Floors. Carpets and rugs vacuumed, hard floors vacuumed and mopped, entry and hallway.
Then add what you want, when you want it: the inside of the oven or fridge, inside cupboards, window tracks, skirting boards, marks on walls.
Winter, dust and the time of year
Central Victoria's seasons show up indoors. In winter, wood heaters and muddy boots mean more dust and grit on the floors, and bathrooms that don't dry out between showers. In summer, north-wind dust settles on every sill. A regular list can change with the season, so ask if you'd like more time on the floors in July or the sills in January.

What if I need to skip a week?
Message us before the visit and we'll skip it or move it to another day. Holidays happen, and the regular day picks up again when you're back.
Is weekly or fortnightly better?
It depends on the house. Busy households with kids often suit weekly, and quieter homes are usually fine with fortnightly. We'll suggest what we think suits when we quote, and you can change it later.
How much does a regular clean cost?
It depends on the size of the home, how often and what's on the list. Send a few details and we'll give you a free quote before any work starts.
Can you start with a deep clean?
Yes, and if it's been a while it's often worth it. A one-off deep clean gets the home to a clean slate, and the regular visits then keep it there.
